Presentation through the Wayne County Criminal Advocacy Program
Identification evidence is regularly used in hearings and trials. This session will give an overview of the types of identifications and procedures that are conducted in Michigan, how to challenge identification evidence and testimony when necessary, and will explore defense strategies including when experts are needed for trial.
The speaker for this session is Takura Nyamfukudza, an attorney with the firm Alane & Chartier in Lansing, Michigan. The session will be moderated by Marla R. McCowan, the MIDC’s Director of Training, Outreach and Support.
